Why Must I Choose a Niche?

I have so many things that I have a passion for sometimes I forget which one I like the best. Or why decide which one I even like best? As I started my blog I was told by so many and read by dozens that I needed a niche. But picking this niche was and now I am realizing is still super hard. Originally I created a Youtube channel to vlog my Disney College Program for my friends and Family back home. That was my original niche. Although, when it was cancelled and covid tackled the world I stepped away from the video camera as it did not feel right to record. I may have put down the camera, but I knew I wanted to stick with a blog. And behold, Humble Smiles was born.
Weeks later, I forgot she existed. A failed blogger two months in.
Eventually, I was able to write a blog post here and there... when I remembered I had the platform. BUT THEN I created an Etsy shop with handmade jewelry. I still had no clue what the niche was.
Before I knew it, still holding onto my Disney dream. All Tangled Up was born. My new instagram was to show off my etsy creations that I adore and share tips about Disney and Life. Unfortunately, it still has not felt right. Disney, Nature, Mental Health... So many choices for a niche. I have been in such a frenzy and I simply still cannot decide even with an instagram made.
Nature has been calling me. A good hike, waterfalls, national parks. It has my name written all over it. I can share gear, trails, fun pictures and never ending sights. I do still want to live in a van one day.
Disney has my heart, always and forever. But how much of a Disney blogger can I be if I am not in Disney or going twice a year.
Mental Health Awareness is something I advocate everyday and everyone should take care of themselves. I want to help people battle and become a better version of themselves.
Now do you see my issue? But why does it have to be an issue. I am sure there is a way I can tie it all together. Lets see if I can do it, or if I end up with 5 different instagrams.
Oh well, I will have it figured out soon. Now you have been confused about my niche, just know I am too!
Keep on Smiling,
Kathleen
